The slit wrist closure makes it so easy to get these on before practice—no more wrestling match with my son. The wide strap holds them snug, and after a month of hard use in rain and sun, the latex still grips like new for his age group.
The flat cut latex gives my kid a really solid grip even when the grass is wet from morning dew, which is exactly what we needed for fall training. The wide strap keeps the glove snug without cutting off circulation, and he hasn't complained about them slipping once during a full hour of drills.
My son slips these on by himself thanks to that slit wrist closure, which is huge for pre-game nerves. The wide strap keeps them snug through a full hour of practice, and the flat cut palm gives him that confident feel catching everything.
